Meet the Gentle Giants: Whale Watching Adventure in Faro with Marine Biologists
Embark in an adventure to meet the gentle giants of the Atlantic Ocean. During Spring, Fin whales – the 2nd largest animal on earth – visit Faro area for feeding before their migration. In this trip you have a chance of spotting dolphins & whales with a team os biologists and researchers. Apart from Fin whales, there is a chance to spot Minke whales, Sei whales, Bryde whales or even the rare Humpback whales.

Before departure, participants will have a briefing on board regarding the activity and its rules.
The boat will cruise throughout Ria Formosa Natural Park into the Atlantic Ocean.
Our team of Marine Biologists will be focused on finding whales and dolphins once we reach the sea side. -

The customer can request free cancellation with a full refund if done up to 48 hours in advance during high season months (May-October) or 24 hours in advance during other months of the year. No-shows without prior notice will be charged in full. All customers receive a full refund of the amount paid if the reservation is cancelled by us due to circumstances beyond our control, namely bad weather or sea conditions. The company reserves the right to cancel at any time, including at the time of departure without prior notice if there are changes in the sea state that put the safety or success of the activity at risk. The company may also cancel due to emergency maintenance on vessels as well as unforeseen circumstances including breakdowns, overbookings, among other circumstances. Whenever cancellation is decided by Ocean Vibes, the customer is entitled to a full refund or free rebooking.
